Product Description

The day’s highlights is the Ice Cap Langjökull, Europe’s second largest glacier, where we get equipped to go on a snowmobile ride across the ice fields. This one hour ride offers magnificent view of the landscape from the top of the glacier. Truly a fun filled day, with excitement around every corner and a photographers delight.

On our way up to the Glacier we will stop in several places: Þingvellir National Park – the site of the worlds oldest parliament beginning in the year 930 AD, Gullfoss – our great majestic waterfall and Geysir geothermal area at Haukadalur valley – where we can stand near Strokkur and see it erupt.

All necessary equipment for snowmobiles provided on location; warm overalls, gloves, boots and helmets.

This is a partner tour. In case of large number of bookings, the tour may not be operated in a small group.
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to departure. No shows are fully charged.

“Snowmobiling and Golden Circle Tour was SO FUN!”

beschmitt (Chicago, Illinois)

First of all, it's not a trip to Iceland until you take a trip in one of these crazy superjeeps - they're a whole adventure in and of themselves. The Golden Circle is a must-see part of Iceland and it's great to do with these really informed guides in a smaller group versus a 75 person megabus. It's also a great opportunity to take some off-the-beaten path ways to different sites. The Snowmobiling portion was great, although there weren't enough opportunities to stop and take pictures, which was too bad. Still, I've never had an experience where you come over a hill and down into a glacial crater and you can't tell where the snow stops and the sky starts because it's all just WHITE. So beautiful. Really shows how Iceland is the world's treasure chest.

“Nailed it! Pumped full with Adrenalin!!”

MUST DO for adventurous people!!
I took the golden circle in super jeep and snowmobiling trip with them. Simply, had one of the best days of my life!
Everything rocked!! I was lucky to get Hardur to guide us, who usually does not do this tour.
I have no clue which one beats the other- the super jeep? the snowmobile?the glacier? the golden circle or Hordur's fascinating stories?
The day was full of awesomeness!!

“Another great day out ”

James A (Bristol, United Kingdom)

This is the second time I've used these guys and the second time I've had a great day. This time I did the Golden Circle Superjeep with snowmobiling with Skarpi.

Weather wasn't great (mostly cloudy), but Skarpi was a fun guide, we got plenty of time everywhere, and the snowmobiling was a blast. I have done the same tour in the middle of winter and it is so different, but both were equally enjoyable.

Great day out, much more personal than coach trips, and great staff to keep you entertained and give you loads of info about where you're going (even when you've been before!)

I will be back!

“So glad we took this tour, rather than traditional “Golden Circle””

Rich H

This tour is far better than a traditional Golden Circle tour as you get to see the same sites, but also the amazing Langjökull glacier which was the highlight. We travelled in a small group in an amazing modified 4x4 truck with our guide, Skarphodinn Ingarson at the wheel. Departing at 09:00 we visited Geysir and Gullfoss on-route to the Langjökull glacier. There we had a thrilling 2 hour snowmobile expedition, taking in the most amazing views along the way. On the return journey we visited Þingvellir National Park.
