Glacier Lagoon Tour Iceland

Glacier Lagoon tour takes you to visit the charming village of Vík and continues through spectacular scenery, lava fields, and a black sandy desert all the way to the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jokulsarlon (Jökulsárlón). You will also be able to walk between the icebergs on the so-called “Diamond” or “Crystal” beach. This is a black sand beach at the coastline near the Glacier Lagoon and, very often, there are many icebergs washed up on to the beach which makes for a spectacular view (please note: this cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on the tide/the wind, etc. whether and how many icebergs will be washed up there). 

Our journey continues on to the turf church at Hof (Hofskirkja) and then driving through Skaftafell National Park. As we make our way back towards Reykjavik we might be able to catch a glimpse of the eternal kiss of the Icelandic trolls along the way, before we will visit the serene, beautiful 100-meter deep Fjadrargljufur (Fjaðrárgljúfur) canyon (may not be accessible in winter conditions). We will also make a stop at one of the most famous and beautiful waterfalls – Seljalandsfoss. There may also be extra stops if time allows.
