 Verified Beautiful scenic day in Iceland
It was really a lovely long day but a joy to see the sites with Gummi We saw geyser’s, waterfalls & beautiful landscapes. Gummi’s knowledge of the area is quite impressive Although my favorite part which i wish was longer was the secret lagoon very warm, fresh water, & not crowded like most of the other spots.  Verified The Geysers blew me away!
This was a fantastic tour, particularly because it was a smaller group, so it was more enjoyable travelling around the different sites. Thor our driver was super knowledgeable and kept telling us about the different landscapes as we drove through. The waterfalls were frozen because of the time of the year, but were still stunning to see, and the landscape in Iceland is absolutely beautiful. My favourite part of the trip was definitely the geysers - absolutely stunning to see! I was filled with so much joy watching them. But all the things we were able to see were great experiences - it is definitely a must-do trip for a once in a lifetime holiday.

 Verified Jokulsarlon, Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, and more
Our small family of three (including our teenage daughter) booked this small bus tour to Jokulsarlon—we knew it would be a long day. With only 5 hours of daylight and winter weather we wanted to leave the driving to experts. Our capable guide was Tront (spelling?) a self-described descendant of Norwegian Vikings! He wore only a hand-knit Icelandic sweater all day despite gale force wind and rain and shared stories of his life and of the Icelandic landscape. Though the Glacier Lagoon was our goal, the highlight of the trip was by far the short, dramatic hike in Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon—we were stunned at its sheer beauty! A final stop at Seljalandsfoss—lit up by evening lights—and a short glimpse of the Northern Lights on the highway back to Reykjavik made the long trip memorable. (The WIFI on the bus was broken, a tiny inconvenience for those of us without international cell reception, but also a nice break from our phones!)

Wonderful all day trip to the spectacular glacier bay with Gateway to Iceland. Gummi, our driver was very interesting. He picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel. Glacier Bay and Diamond Beach are beautiful. It was a long day, but didn't seem like it. I would recommend this trip to anybody.

Our guide Rakel was exceptionally knowledgeable and talked quite a lot along our way - great to get all that information! Scenery was amazing - the stops were a little quick - but we had a jump on larger busses - big plus! Our group struggled with return times and we ourselves were late out of the lagoon - apologies all around as we did get a great lecture about that straight off We stopped quickly on the lake where they cook in the ground - always fascinating. Overall it was great and I’d recommend it for sure. I’d be glad to start a pinch earlier to allow more time especially at the lagoon.
