Hot Golden Circle Tour Iceland
Are you on a vacation? Why not indulge in the Golden Circle tour – the relaxed way. We pick you up mid-morning, between 10:00 – 10:30 AM, and take you to see all the beautiful sights of the Golden Circle tour after the morning crowds had already come and gone. To top it off, we will visit a natural hot spring/pool where you can relax in the 38-40°C water, the Viking way.
On this Hot Golden Circle tour, we visit the three major sights of the Golden Circle.
First off – Thingvellir, site of the World’s first Parliament (Alþingi) that met each year, beginning in 930 AD and continuing until 1798. National Park Thingvellir is also a geological wonder, at this place two tectonic plates meet – the Eurasian and American plates. You will get the chance to see the edges of both plates and where they meet, with the possibility to take a short walk in between the plates! Next is the beautiful Gullfoss, Iceland’s pride and one of Europe’s largest waterfalls. At Haukadalur you will be able to stand up close to the erupting geyser, Strokkur. We will also take you to the Secret Lagoon, the hot spring nature bath. Locals named it that way because it has only been known to few, up until now.
A truly enjoyable tour combining two of the best things Iceland has to offer: great scenery and a warm relaxing nature bath (there is a full facility with changing rooms, lockers and showers).
